In the article, “Belief in God Boils Down to a Gut Feeling” Stephanie Pappas describes how influences on people’s religious beliefs describe their way of thinking. She describes the two studies they administered to find this analysis, which was a math test of 882 Americans and writing a paragraph of 373 participants. The conclusion of this study is that people “who are generally more intuitive in the way they think and make decisions are more likely to believe in God than those who ruminate over their choices,” said Pappas.  I agree with this finding because I believe everyone comes from different backgrounds and have different ideas but when “right” and “wrong” plays a part in life. I believe people will know which is which. As a whole I believe in the study, however I believe everyone has a mind of their own and can make their own decisions without thinking about religion. Impulses of choices without thinking, but in this study people are given the chance to think, and that is what some people did which is why I think this is what makes this study unreliable.  Two test and that will help you now if you believe in God? I think there are so many things wrong with that because nothing can describe how people are with religion; it is complicated.  I think this article would have been more appropriate for the future rather than now because two studies are not enough. Who is to say how religious do you have to be?

  1. Hmmm... well while I do hInInteresting aritcle that yo've stumbled upon here Adolfo I'm intrigued by it. With all things in life, religious or not there are a standard of rules that we must live by, it's really simple actually, people who don't want to follow the rules make it complicated. This is nothing personal against you, if you think about it; order is governed by law and, law is governed by heaven, without heaven law comes down to a matter of opinion which is what this test has proven.
Great articles nonetheless keep it up.
